expert in radiophysics

The MPE (Medical Physicist Expert) carries out the tasks of medical physics in all services using MRI for diagnostic and research purposes in collaboration with the teams.

ACTIVITIES related specifically to services using MRI

•      He/she is responsible of the optimization of MRI sequence

•      He/she is responsible of the onsite training of technologist to maintain a high level of knowledge and capabilities

•      He/she is participate at different research in collaboration with the firm and the medical staff

•      He/she is responsible of developing the quality assurance to guarantee high image quality

•      He/she participate at the elaboration of the tenders and share its expertise to the evaluation of the offer.

•      He/she make the link between the hospital and the external company

•      Work effectively and efficiently within a cross-functional team

Required qualifications (degree(s), training, specific knowledge) : 

•      Degree in Physics (Master’s degree) or equivalent.

Desired qualifications : 

•      Computer skills and practical programming skills.

•      Good knowledge of English (written and spoken), possibly Dutch

•      A PhD, preferably related to MRI or imaging processing is an asset 

Desired experience  (know-how): 

•      Experience in MRI: image quality, sequence optimization,

•      Possible participation in publications
